Why Choose Custom Earmoulds?

Custom earmoulds are superior to foam or generic shaped earpieces because they are created from an identical copy or impression of the user's ear and ear canal so a perfect fit is guaranteed. Earmoulds are the preferred choice of those who use in-ear products for prolonged periods, like news broadcasters or musicians. Custom moulded ear-inserts or earmoulds are used in a variety of applications including news broadcasters, security communication, sports, motorcyclists, shooting, professional musicians, Mp3 players, Noise protection. We can produce ear-inserts for almost any application.

Noise Plugs

Custom-fit earplugs provide outstanding noise protection for a variety of recreational and occupational environments. Prolonged noise from loud machinery and tools on the job can damage your hearing - even short bursts of sound over 90 decibels can have an impact. We offer several custom hearing protection options for those who are exposed to high-noise environments. Five different acoustic filters are available, offering a range from low to very high attenuation with only the harmful level filtered out while ambient noise and speech level remain audible

Protect Your Hearing When You Need To

The world has become a far noisier place than it once was. This noise can cause irreparable damage to your hearing if you don't protect yourself from it. Although almost everyone is aware that industrial workplace noises, jackhammers, gunfire, and other common everyday sounds can cause hearing loss. Many are not aware that loud music and other everyday sounds can contribute to hearing loss. Noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) is also one of the harder hearing losses to treat because of the difficulty that a sufferer has with the soft consonants (the sharpness or clarity) in speech. This is further compounded by the fact that someone who suffers from NIHL can hear low-frequency noise and the vowels of speech exceptionally well, sometimes completely normally. This causes huge difficulty for understanding in any complex noisy sound environment.

Louder Than 85 Decibels

Any sounds that are louder than 85 decibels can cause permanent irreversible hearing loss depending on your length of exposure (called dose). But just how loud is 85 decibels? Take a look at these decibel ratings and permissible dose times.

Intensities of Common Sounds in Decibels

Sounds Intensities Permissible exposure time
City Traffic, inside the car 85 dB 8 hours
Bulldozer 88 dB 4 hours
Jazz Concert 91 dB 2 hours
Power Mower 94 dB 1 hour
Nightclub 97 dB 30 minutes
Ambulance Siren, inside driver window down 100 dB 15 minutes
Rock Concert, Leaf Blower 115 dB 30 seconds

Hunting Ear Protection

When you are hunting, you need a device that allows you to hear soft sounds like rustling in the undergrowth, but you also need something to protect your hearing from the blast of the gun.  While both needs seem incompatible, good electronic shooter's protection will deliver for both. Electronic shooter's protection will amplify the soft sounds but reduce the loudness of the gunshot. Of course, you can also choose from well-designed earmuffs or custom made earplugs. They may not amplify sound, but they will help to protect your hearing. The same can be said for recreational shooters, if it's clays or just on the range, no matter where you shoot, you need to protect your hearing.

Ear Protection for Musicians

The stories about musicians and DJs with tinnitus are endless, loud music night after night will affect your hearing in the long run. It can cause sensitivity to sound, tinnitus and hearing loss. Simple earplugs can help to protect your hearing, but they mess with the fidelity of the sound. Musicians' earplugs protect your hearing while leaving the frequency response just as it should be. It means you can hear the music the way it should be without damaging your hearing.

Industrial Hearing Protection

Noise at work has been responsible for a huge amount of hearing loss over the decades. While new health and safety laws have been designed to protect people, it is still worth considering getting custom hearing protection.  Earmuffs and simple generic earplugs may not protect you correctly, but you can be confident with custom-fit protection. Built exactly for your ear and fitted with the right sound filter for your sound environment, you can be sure you are getting the best protection. Remember, your hearing is precious, and once it is gone, it is gone.

I want to take this opportunity of thanking all the people I came in contact with when I recently came to your company for hearing aids. Nowadays it is not common to receive the level of service given by your company.
